Name: Lucas James Klein Rank: Detective Age: 28 Nationality: American Height: 6' 1" Weight: 175 lbs Years of Service: 3(See "Prior Occupation") Department: Powered Armor Crime Prior Occupation: 501st USMP Powered Armor Division
Personal History
Det. Klein has served with the Department of Law Enforcement for 3 years, transferring recently from a precinct in Raleigh to Washington D.C. While somewhat less clean-cut than expected, he has proven to be an exemplary officer in most fields. Detective work hardly suits him however as he is given to taking a very active role in arrests, even in the case of violent powered armor related crimes. He has often questioned why he isn't working more closely with police powered armor units to respond to such crimes, rather than typically arriving after the fact.
His previous occupation, which dominated much of his early twenties, was as a powered armor soldier in the USMP forces. While details are sketchy, it seems his unit was defeated at the hands of a gundam unit, with few survivors. For unknown reasons, he was discharged from the military after the incident.
As Gundam-related crimes have been on the rise, Det. Klein has been given broader freedom to work alongside powered armor units to attempt to arrest and interrogate suspects and find the source of these high-powered units.
Surprisingly, Klein makes arrests wearing the armor of a Gundam. The Victory Gundam "HEXA" fields many different weapons, from an array of beam sabers and javelins to beam pistols, rifles and a devastating vulcan cannon. Perhaps even more useful is the advanced sensor and communications package which allows Klein to coordinate well with his allies, and keep a step ahead of perps in powered armors.
How Det. Klein came into posession of the HEXA is unknown, but in light of the circumstances, the department welcomes the added firepower. Klein welcomes the ability to stand toe-to-toe with much of the criminal element that thus far has been plaguing the nation. |
